Non-Residential Solar Loan Program Application Process

For Commercial, Industrial, Municipal, Non-Profit and Multi-family/Affordable Housing applicants

***PLEASE CLICK HERE BEFORE PROCEEDING***

  • Application information must be submitted on forms provided by PSE&G where identified, as follows:

  • Completed documents as noted above, along with required payment, are to be forwarded to PSE&G Solar Loan Program, P.O. Box 1258, Newark, NJ, 07101 for evaluation. To assist in the fair administration of the Program and timely consideration of applications, hand-delivered applications will not be accepted.

  • PSE&G will date and time stamp each application.  Applications will be reviewed in the order they were received.

  • Project approvals will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, so long as: (a) the capacity limits are not exceeded, and (b) the soft caps per segment are not exceeded.  The application process will accept projects according to commercially reasonable performance and credit criteria.  More particularly, creditworthiness determinations will be based upon an assessment of an applicant’s ability to fully collateralize the loan.  Because of the relationship between the total project costs, equipment costs and loan amount, the applicant will provide PSE&G with a first lien and security interest in the project equipment and related project collateral.

  • Applications received after the block has been fully subscribed will be returned along with the application fee.

  • For projects that are rejected for any reason other than a fully-subscribed program block, PSE&G will retain the application fee and use it offset administrative costs. Applicant will be allowed thirty days to correct any application deficiencies.

  • Applicant will make reasonable accommodations to allow PSE&G to audit the project.  At its sole discretion PSE&G may conduct audits before, during and after the solar project is constructed.  The period for potential audits will begin with receipt of the solar project application and end when PSE&G no longer has right to the SRECs generated by the project.
