PSEG Solar Source
PSEG Solar Source develops, constructs, owns and operates large scale solar facilities outside of PSE&G's service territory. The company focuses on developing large-scale solar gardens and farms, generally of at least two megawatts in size.

It currently has three solar projects, totaling 29.2 MW.  All are done in partnership with juwi solar Inc. These assets are the first in a planned portfolio of solar facilities throughout the U.S. to be developed, owned and operated by PSEG Solar Source.

  • Construction on a 15 MW DC solar farm on 100 acres in Jacksonville, Florida is underway. Commercial operation is expected to begin in the summer of 2010.  JEA, a Jacksonville municipal utility, has contracted for the output of the system and the renewable energy credits.

  • Construction is underway on a 12 MW DC solar farm on 80 acres in Wyandot, Ohio.  Commercial operation is expected to begin in 2010. AEP Ohio has contracted for the output of the system and the renewable energy credits.

PSEG Solar Source LLC is not the same company as PSE&G, the New Jersey based electric and gas utility.  PSEG Solar Source is not regulated by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.  You do not have to purchase any PSEG Solar Source products in order to receive quality regulated services from PSE&G.
